BrightStar has recently entered into a joint venture project with Westgate Developments to proceed with the development of the $100 million Capital Pointe project on the site of the old Plains Hotel in downtown Regina. On that site will be built a 26 storey building that will feature a Hilton flagged hotel and condominiums. This building, when completed, will be the tallest building in Saskatchewan. Demolition of the current building on the site will begin in the Fall of 2011.
